The thicker and softer the material, the easier it is for the stitches to disappear into the material, which results in unsightly-looking embroidery. Thanks to hydrofoil, every single stitch looks brilliant, and even complex patterns with the smallest embroidery are perfect. The secret lies in the water-soluble foil, which is placed on the fabric before embroidery and then removed with water, leaving no residue. Even elastic knits and terry cloth can be embroidered with ease and precision! Hydrofoil can also be used as a backing material, in cases where both sides of the embroidery are visible, e.g. on scarves or towels.
